Whirlwind tour continued

Over Spring Break '06, we bought a Philadelphia City Pass, which allowed us to explore the Philadelphia Zoo, the Constitution Center, Rodan Museum, Franklin Institute of Science Museum, Academy of Natural Sciences, the Indepence Seaport Museum, and take a Trolley Works Tour through the city.

At the Seaport Museum we climbed aboard the oldest floating steel warship in the world, the 1892 Cruiser OLYMPIA, and went below deck of WWII Submarine BECUNA

Instead of saying "going to the beach", locals say "going down the shore". This was our first trip down the shore to Ocean City, NJ. Gotta have water ice!
Temple Trip to Washington D.C. We also saw a few sites in the city (they were preparing for the White House Easter Egg Hunt)
A trip to New York and Rhode Island with our friendsWe got to go sailing on this boat in Newport RI and sailed past the childhood home of Jackie Kennedy.Staton Island Ferry
That speck behind us is the Statue of Liberty

Fall in PA

Back to NY for a Yankees Game! We also checked out Times Sqaure and had hot dogs at Gray's Papaya.

Christmas '06 in Utah

We met our little nephew, Jackson, for the first time
making gingerbread houses
Lunch at Mama's Southern Plantation in SLC.
No trip to Utah is complete without going to the cabin!
January '07. I parked the car a little too close to a snow bank and by the next morning, they were frozen together! Dave wasn't very happy. After 2 or 3 hours of chipping ice away from our car, we finally got out and we went to see the Wissahicken covered bridge in the winter. Beautiful.
Spring Break '07. Dave's parents came to visit us. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't very spring-like. But we had a great time visiting the Philly sites (including the King Tut exhibit and the Philadelphia Flower Show) as well as spending a few days "down the shore" in Atlantic City.

Spring finally did arrive in all it's glory!

We went camping with friends to Rickett's Glen. There are over 20 waterfalls along a beautiful hike.
Dave's White Coat Ceremony, marking the half-way point of dental school and officially making him "student doctor Dave"
Another trip to NY! We walked across the Brooklyn Bridge and spent some time in China Town and Central Park. Dave and Matt also went to a Yankee's game.
Summer '07. Angie and Jana spent two weeks with us. We had a blast taking them to Washington D.C., Lancaster, PA, Hershey, PA and Ocean City, NJ.

In September '07 we spent a week in the Outer Banks, NC. We rented a beachhouse with a bunch of other dental students. It was so relaxing to spend our days on the beach and go sightseeing. There was only one casualty, when Dave took a face plant in the sand while boogy boarding.

Guess who turned the big "30" in November??? My friend's husband also turned 30 a week after Dave so we threw them a totally awesome 80's party. Radical!

Do you hate the Christmas cleanup? Take my dad's approach--just wrap your tree in plastic, it only takes about 10 seconds and you'll never have to decorate OR undecorate that tree again! The Keller's
