4th of July

It's become a tradition to go out to breakfast on the morning of the 4th of July with Dave's family.
I'm not so sure Golden Corral will have us back after this year though.
These little monkeys were all over the place. Grandpa even got in on the action, pushing their high chair train around the restaurant!
 They sure had fun though
Later in the day we attended a picnic with Dave's extended family. Cole started playing in what I thought was a water puddle under the pavilion, until someone informed me it was a rootbeer spill. Gross! He was covered in muddy sticky rootbeer and required a wardrobe change.
That night we went to see the Stadium of Fire fireworks show from outside the stadium. We have a little system worked out that we started last year. We park at a church on 9th East, walk across the street to the field in front of the Harman building, set out our blankets and enjoy the show. Then, to avoid all of the traffic afterwards, we walk over to the Creamery outlet and get ice cream while the traffic dies down. Works like a charm.
