APRIL

We spent Easter weekend in Orem this year. Saturday we went to Aiden and Asher's super hero birthday party. It was a lot of fun but I didn't have my camera there. Later that day we colored easter eggs with the cousins. On Sunday morning Cole got a surprise from the Easter bunny--a new bike! After church, everyone came over for dinner and an easter egg hunt.

The day after Easter the Arthur family took a trip to Salt Lake. We visited Hogle Zoo. Cole was soooo excited to go to the zoo that we had to make a paper chain to count down the days! We didn't get a lot of pictures though. He unfortunately spent a lot of time in first aid getting a sliver pulled out of his hand and also some time taking a nap in the stroller.

After the zoo we headed over to the new City Creek Mall. They have a fun play area for the kids and also a splash pad. Cole didn't want to play on the splash pad but he was very interested in this fountain nearby. He and Ellie had a great time playing in it. I think it was more their pace.

This is what you get when you tell a kid to say "cheese"!
It was a long day but the boys did great and Mommy, Cole and Drew slept well on the car ride home!

Drew turned 7 months...
and Mommy had a birthday (we won't say how old). We celebrated with Grandma Athlen, who has a birthday the day before.
Dave got me an awesome new camera for my birthday. It's a Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS. It's the worlds thinnest camera but it takes incredible pictures. It has tons of features and takes 1080p HD video. I wanted something small that I could just throw in the diaper bag and have handy anytime I need it, rather than carting my big camera around. I have been VERY happy with it!
