While Drew slept, Cole opened his presents from Santa.
He got a train table, Buzz Lightyear, a coat, snow boots and snow pants.
Christmas fell on Sunday this year so we hurried and got ready for 9:00 am church
After church we went to grandma and grandpa's house for breakfast and more presents!

After breakfast we drove down to Beaver to visit my grandma. She is 88 years old and still goes all out for Christmas. It takes her months to get it all set up and then months to take it all down. She puts up two big trees and one small tree, decorates her yard and her driveway and her house. She has an entire building in her back yard to store all of her Christmas stuff! But it makes her happy and keeps her going. She always serves a delicious dinner Christmas evening and then we go out to her garage that she converted into an extra room and she gives us all our presents. She makes a blanket for each of her great-grandkids every year (a project she works on all year round). She currently has 15 great-grandkids, so that's a lot of blanket making.
This little snowman caused quite the scandal a few years ago because my grandma's neighbors stole it (or maybe it blew into their yard and then they claimed it) and then put it out on their front porch. Well, it wouldn't have been that big of a deal, but since my grandma has had this little guy since the 1950's, it was kind of sentimental to her and so she casually asked them about it and they insisted it was theirs! Somehow my aunt got involved (I think she gave them the what-for) and it ended up back in my grandma's yard safe and sound :)
Grandma's taste may be a little eccentric, but we love her for it!

Looks like my moms house. But she doesnt do much on the outside. But the inside is totally decked out. She is in LOVE with Snoopy. Maybe I will post about it next year.
Love the Frosty story! Grandma was happy when she got the snowman back because the neighbors painted it and she thought it looked better haha!
